New and Improved Portfolio

Hello there boys and girls! After meandering aimlessly post-graduation, I have finally updated my portfolio to something that I am proud of. I like it a lot, and it is not often that I like my work. This is also something that I need to work on; realizing not everyone hates my work and thinks I am a fraud. Love me, dammit!

And now, without further ado, feast your eyes on this.

The entire portfolio started with this box. I used an awesome antique Chinese box that I found in my parents' storage closet. I love it even more because it smells like my grandfather. After I found the box, I knew that I needed the portfolio to be 8.5" x 8.5" to snugly fit inside. I created the content and sent the digital file to Lulu.com to print. I received the package today, about 11 days after placing my order. I have ordered from Lulu once before, and I feel like it did not take quite this long. On second thought, I had a very skewed concept of time in college... It may have taken longer because I ordered during their free ground shipping sale. I'm happy with Lulu, but if you have any other suggestions for print services I gladly welcome it.

It is perfect-bound with a glossy cover. I would have preferred matte, but Lulu didn't have an option for that. If they did, I didn't see it. My other book I printed last year had a glossy cover too.

Also, my apologies to David Shields for not printing and binding my own book. Not all of us are gifted with steady hands, but some of us have a tendency to get overzealous with the book-cutting machine.
